Where did we begin?
Liam approached me to help him establish his business online after working on print materials for his brand. He needed a site that could grow with his business. Allowing him to add new services and ranges was something which was important. His overall expertise and knowledge needed to be prominent.
The client was quite open to me suggesting the best approach to the site appearance. We looked at competitors which assisted us when designing and building the site. He was fortunate to have some good quality supplier images which helped add a statement to the site. We used the colour theme from his company logo as a guide theme throughout the site.
Using WordPress custom post types I was able to create a section for adding new blind ranges. In conjunction with “Advanced Custom Fields” this allowed me to create fields to make adding new product lines more efficient.
It was also important to highlight the free quotation service so this was promoted on the internal pages.
Website evolving as he is growing
We have now added new elements including customer reviews from various channels. This helps add some social proof for potential new clients.
Since we have begun working together the have constantly looked to add to his site. We have added new ranges, photography and as he is growing we have added testimonials.
His busy is going extremely well and the website helps support him from a Digital perspective. With more supplier information and more images we will build on the strong foundations that we have built for him and his business.
